Basic Information:
All Coaches and Board Members are expected to volunteer their time as Field Managers. There are 3 field managers assigned during Saturday games, 3 field managers assigned during Sunday, and 1 field manager during weeknight games; unless otherwise assigned.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all CFA duties are carried out in a timely manner.
- Ensure order pre, during, and post games.
- Enforce CFA rules, in addition to Complex policy and regulations.
- Resolve issues and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that order is maintained during the game by coaches, fans, and referees.
- Determine game cancellation due to inclement weather.
- Ensure the 2 teams playing the first game on the Fields are setting up field equipment.
- First shift: Set up sponsorship signs on the fields.
- Maintain cleanliness of fields.
- Make sure all "No Parking" areas are clear of vehicles.
- At the start of each game, check in with coaches (remind of mandatory play sheets) and referees.
- At the end of each Mighty Mite, Midget, Bandit and Flag game, collect signed play sheets.
- Last shift:
- Make sure that the 2 teams on the field(s) are picking up all field equipment.
- Collect and store sponsorship signs.
- Ensure all field, sidelines, and common areas have been cleared of trash.
- Remove and replace trash bags.
- Take trash to the dumpsters.
- Ensure scoreboard(s) have been turned off.
PENALTY: Unexcused absences warrant next game suspension for coaches.
